Snow fell during the first winter at Shirley Park and allowed for some pre-school ski trip practice on the playing fields. Easter 1966 saw the trinity ski trip to Austria led by Ron Woolford. 

The 1966 school film captures both events and documents what appears to be an impressive list of broken bones evidence by the number of students in plaster casts coming home.
