The Trinity Boys' Choir has a long association with Glyndebourne and Midsummer Night's Dream in particular. David Squibb was contacted by them as they knew the Trinity Boys' Choir had performed at Aldeburgh and were interested to see if they could also be used at Glyndebourne. In January 1981 Jane Glover, a highly regarded conductor, came to Trinity with Jonathan Hinden to listen to the boys.
