Guys and Dolls 2012

Talk of Trinity review

The whole cast, led by Sixth Form students Adam Roddie, Freddie Benedict, Hannah Karim and Grace Liston, worked together with the unsung heroes of the technical and backstage crew to provide, in Headmaster Mark Bishop’s words, “a simply stunning spectacle”.

This is the first musical staged by the School in some years – and is the first able to draw on the talents of a co-educational Sixth Form. “The boys and girls have worked so hard on the musical, and they have made the production a tremendous success.” enthused Andrew Godfrey, Head of Drama Productions.

Grace Liston (L6) said: “Being involved with Guys and Dolls at Trinity has been a thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding experience. I think that participating in the musical was the best way to introduce me to the astounding music and drama department available at Trinity”. Freddie Benedict (L6) added: “Despite never having been in a musical before, I have really enjoyed Guys and Dolls. It’s been an amazing show to perform in!”
